Our most dramatic silhouette — an elongated, boat-shaped cut with pointed ends, designed to maximise carat size and create the illusion of a longer, more slender finger. Its story dates back to 18th-century France, where King Louis XV commissioned a diamond shaped to echo the smile of his court favourite, the Marquise de Pompadour. Sculpted cathedral shoulders lift the stone into the light, held by four talon claws for a setting that feels both regal and secure. A fine 1.9mm band lets the stone take centre stage. Bold and unmistakable, for a ring that carries its history in every line.
